Buncrana Roads Policing Unit, assisted by the RSA and Customs have issued a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice to a driver on the main Derry to Letterkenny Road.
The Ford Galaxy vehicle was found to have not been taxed since December of 2016.
The vehicle was detained and also found to have incorrect fuel in its tank.
