Donegal TD launches scathing attack on Taoiseach over bed crisis

 

A Donegal Deputy has launched a scathing attack on the Taoiseach following comments he made that HSE health care staff should not have extra days off over Christmas.
The HSE however isn’t expected to ban doctors and nurses from taking time off over the festive period when it finalises its winter plan today.
The suggestion by Leo Varadkar faced widespread criticism with calls for him to apologise from the opposition.
Speaking in the Dail, Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty accused the Taoiseach of having his finger off the pulse:
