An Inishowen councillor says it should be possible to begin planning for tour guides at Grianan of Aileach in the near future.
The Inishowen Municipal District was told this week that a Conservation and management Plan should be ready by the end of this month, and once that is ready, future options will be assessed by the OPW.
There will be consultation on the options, which include the deployment of tour guides.
