Donegal bucks national trend again in latest rental report


Rents in Donegal were around 1.7% higher in the second quarter of 2018 than a year previous.
According to the latest report from Daft.ie, the average advertised rent in the county is now €605, up 25% from its lowest point.
Nationally, rents rose by an average 12.4% in the year to June of this year.
Author of the report, Ronan Lyons, economist at Trinity College Dublin says the data once again demonstrates how Brexit is having an impact on the property market in Donegal:
