UK cabinet reach agreement on key Brexit plan proposals


The creation of a new UK-European Union free trade area is one of the key proposals in the British Government’s Brexit plan.
Theresa May’s cabinet reached the agreement at Chequers last night.
It means Britain will remain in line with the European Union on rules for all goods – including industrial items and agricultural products.
Mrs. May claims the plan also meets Britain’s commitments on the Irish border:
