Man’s body recovered from River Foyle


Foyle Search and Rescue have confirmed that they recovered a body from the River Foyle yesterday morning. 
Teams were tasked by the Police Service of Northern Ireland to reports of a body being observed in the water just before 8am on Sunday morning.
A mobile unit and two boats responded to the location along with the PSNI.
A man’s body was subsequently recovered from the water.
It’s understood that the deceased family have been informed.
