Council pass motion calling for establishment of Irish passport office in NI


A motion has been passed by Derry City and Strabane District Council calling for the Irish Government to establish an Irish passport office in Northern Ireland.
Derry Councillor Colly Kelly has welcomed this latest development and says the increase in demand following the Brexit announcement warrants an Irish passport office in the North.
He says the development of an office would be greatly beneficial to all along the border region:
