Fears rural Donegal will be forgotten in National Planning Framework


It’s been claimed that the National Planning Framework published last Friday shows chronic under investment and imbalanced regional growth for Donegal.
Speaking last evening in the Dail in delivering statements on Ireland 2040 Framework Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle said Donegal can expect to be forgotten for another generation as the Government is excluding the county and rural Ireland from National Policy once again.
Deputy Pringle also highlighted the emphasis put on developing the rural centre of the county, namely Letterkenny:
