Many Donegal families not seeing benefits of economic recovery, says TD


It’s been claimed that Ireland’s rate of jobless households demonstrates that tens of thousands of families are not feeling the benefits of the economic recovery with Donegal deemed one of the worst affected areas.
According to Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher, the Government’s ‘Action Plan on Jobless Households’ launched last September is not moving at a sufficient pace.
He says there’s no real sense of urgency from the Government in wanting to meet this challenge head on and rural areas are continuing to be neglected:
