North West Strategic Growth plan aims to create 15,000 jobs


Foyle MP Elisha McCallion has met with the Head of Invest NI regarding the North West Strategic Growth plan.
The plan envisages a mass job creation of 15,000 positions in the region by 2032.
Foyle MP Elisha McCallion along with a delegation of stakeholders in the city and North West region has met with head of Invest NI, Alastair Hamilton to discuss the strategic growth plan for the region.
Ms McCallion has welcomed the positive outcome of the meeting and has said Mr Hamilton appears to have bought into the vision for the North West.
The strategic growth plan envisages 15,000 additional jobs being created in the North West by 2032.
She says she is very committed to ensuring the strategic growth plan is realised and will continue to engage with Invest NI to ensure it is put in place.
