Donegal and Tyrone to meet in new Ulster Minor Championship

The draw for next year’s Ulster Minor Football Championship took place on Monday night.
Under the new under 17 structure, the championship gets underway in April and will be keep separate from the senior championship.
Donegal have been drawn at home to Tyrone in the quarter finals on Saturday 28th April.
The two sides clashed in last years Buncrana Cup final with Tyrone running out winners.
Whoever comes through that game will meet the victors from the Antrim Fermanagh quarter in the semi finals.
On the other side of the draw, in the preliminary round Derry will take on Monaghan on Saturday 21st April, with the winners progressing to a quarter-final against Cavan.
If Derry come through those two games they’ll play Down or Armagh in the semi finals.
A backdoor system will be introduced for the minors next year so counties will get at least two games.
