A warning has been issued to the public in a bid to tackle the actions of poachers, following the discovery of a number of dead stags in a field outside Fintown on Friday last.
It is believed the deer were shot illegally during Thursday night and left in the field to die.
Speaking to Highland Radio News, Joseph Brennan whose brother’s land the stags were found on, says it is important the public are aware and action is taken to curb such behaviour:
