Nominations for the Donegal U20 managers position close next week.
It’s understood there will be three candidates in the running for the job.
Last years minor manager Shaun Paul Barrett, who was also going for the Donegal senior job is keen on the post, as is Glenswilly man Gary McDaid.
The Donegal Democrat are today reporting McDaid will have Eamon McGee and Francie Friel on his backroom team.
The third name linked to the post is Paddy Carr.
The Donegal man won an All Ireland club title with Ballymun Kickhams and was part of the selection panel that appointed Declan Bonner as the county’s new senior manager.
