Harps facing the drop but need Drogheda win to keep hope alive

Finn Harps

Finn Harps could be relegated to the First Division of the SSE Airtricty League this weekend.
In their final home game of the season they welcome already relegated Drogheda United to Finn Park.
Harps need to win tonight and hope the sides above them don’t.
On the team front, Ethan Boyle won’t play again this season due to a hamstring injury while Paddy McCourt (calf), Sean Houston (groin) and Packie Mailey (hamsting) are rated extremely doubtful.
As things stand Harps are six points from safety with two games to go.
Third from bottom Galway Utd travel to Limerick while St Pat’s, just a place above them, are at home to Cork City. Both games are also tonight.
The other team in trouble is Sligo Rovers, they are at home to Derry City on Saturday night.
Derry have already secured a Europa League qualifying place but they can still catch Shamrock Rovers in third.
Dean Jarvis could miss that game with a knee injury while Nathan Boyle will be given a late fitness test on a groin injury
A point for Pats and Sligo will relegate Harps no matter how Ollie Horgan’s side do tonight.
The Harps manager feels it will take a huge effort to get the three points tonight…

Kick off at Finn Park tonight is 8pm and Diarmaid Doherty will have live updates on Highland this evening in association with McGettigan’s Centra Shop and Applegreen Filling Station Station, Lifford.
Also tonight, Dundalk host Bohemians and Bray Wanderers play Shamrock Rovers.
