Gerard Butler hospitalised after motorcycle crash

Gerard Butler has been hospitalised in Los Angeles following a motorcycle crash.
TMZ reports that the actor was riding the vehicle in LA when he was cut off by a car. The 300 star is a keen biker and is often seen out on the roads of the city.
A source close to Butler told the site: “Someone called 911, paramedics came and took Gerard to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Lucky for him… no broken bones… just cuts and bruises.”
The actor reportedly has not been laid up by his injuries and will go ahead with plans to continue to promote his new movie Geostorm, which is out in Irish cinemas this Friday.
Butler has a history of hospitalisations, revealing in 2016 that he “could barely walk” following injuries sustained while filming London Has Fallen. He also broke bones in his neck on the set of 2013’s Olympus Has Fallen, and was trapped underwater after being beaten by a succession of waves during the shooting of Chasing Mavericks.
