Locals on Arranmore reject claims football team ran havoc on Island


 
An Arranmore Island Spokesperson has moved to clarify details surrounding the level of anti-social behaviour there last weekend.
There have been reports of a junior football team from Donegal engaging in reckless behaviour including damaging the local hostel and letting a handbrake off a car.
It also also alleged that a goat was ridden like a horse in a nearby field.
Jerry Early who runs the hostel says while there was some anti-social behaviour it has been highly exaggerated by some media outlets
He says the football team have written to the relevant people to apologise:
