Fitzpatrick gets green light for Antrim’s trip to Ballybofey

Matt Fitzpatrick’s proposed 48-week ban has been overturned by Croke Park’s Central Appeals Committee(CAC).
It means the Antrim player is free to face Donegal in the Ulster Championship in Ballybfoey this Sunday.
Fitzpatrick was hit with the hefty suspension after the GAA ruled that he deliberately misled an investigation relating to an incident in Antrim’s National League game against Armagh back in March.
