The Magee’s on form at European Championships in Denmark

The European Badminton Championships is being held in Kolding, Denmark this week and the Irish players have got off to the best possible start.
Ireland come away from Day 1 on Tuesday winning three out of three matches that they played.
The highlight of the day was Sam and Chloe Magee beating the number 5 seeds and former world number 12 Jacco Piek and Selena Arends from the Netherlands.
Rachael Darragh also won her opening match beating Flore Vadenhoucke of Belgium.
Triple Olympian Scott Evans came up against Zvonimir Durkinjak of Croatia and had to come from a set down to win and secure all of the Irish players through the opening day of the event.
Joshua and Sam Magee feature in the men’s doubles today (Wednesday) as well as Rachael Darragh and Sara Boyle in the women’s doubles.
