“We didn’t do enough to win” – Kenny Shiels


Derr City boss said he was happy with the commitment shown by his players’ in their 1-1 draw with Sligo Rovers last night, but admitted they probably didn’t do enough to win the game.
Kieran Sadlier volleyed Sligo ahead but their lead only lasted a matter of minutes when a Conor McDermott cross ricocheted off a Sligo defender and into the net.
After the game, Shiels said that he was happy with the fight he showed in the first game his side has taken points from in almost a month.
Shiels said that he was disappointed that pitch wasn’t sprayed before the game, claiming it hindered play for both teams; but overall, he was happy to come away with points…
