Mickey Harte happy with more game time ahead of league


Tyrone will play Fermanagh and Derry will meet Monaghan in the semi finals of the Dr.McKenna Cup on Sunday.
Defending Champions Tyrone remained on course for a sixth title, booking their last four birth with a dominant 2-23 to 0-6 win over Donegal on Wednesday night in Omagh.
Their big players once again stepped up, as Peter Harte scored 0-5, Darren McCurry, 0-6 and Ronan O’Neill 0-5. The Tyrone goals came from Ronan Mc Hugh and Cahir McCullough.
The O’Neill County ended up winning Section C as Cavan lost to Ulster University but Tyrone knew ahead of the game they needed a big score win to be in with a chance of reaching the knockout stage.

Next up for Harte’s side is neighbours Fermanagh on Sunday in Clones, after they beat Antrim to progress as the best runners up.
There’ll be more players available to Tyrone this weekend as the college players will be back with their own counties.
