Donegal County Council launches energy efficiency survey

secure
Donegal County Council is inviting the public to participate in a short survey to find out more about the level of energy awareness throughout the county.
It also hoped that the survey once completed will help advise on the best way to provide people with more information on saving energy costs.
The survey is part of the EU funded Secure project which was launched in Glenveagh Visitor Centre in November.
The Secure project aims to promote greater use of energy efficient technologies and renewable energy sources and has a particular focus on innovative energy solutions for housing & public infrastructure.
The Council is keen to hear from the public on their own energy consumption, their knowledge on how best to reduce energy costs and what information they need to have in order to make greater energy savings in their own homes and businesses.
The short survey should take no longer than five minutes to complete and will provide the council with valuable information that will help guide them in providing better and clearer information to the public on how to improve energy efficiency and save more on energy costs.
The survey can be completed at www.donegalcoco.ie <http://www.donegalcoco.ie/>.
