Deputy Gallagher says no permission has been given for controversial Oyster Farm

OysterDeputy Pat The Cope Gallagher says there are currently no plans to develop an Oyster Farm on the strand at Cruit Island.
A public meeting is taking place tonight in the Viking House tonight (Thursday)at 8pm to discuss the proposed development of a 12.5 Hectare Oyster Farm on the Strand.
However, Deputy Gallagher maintains there are no such plans in place as of yet while a consultation period is ongoing.
He says that he does support locals in opposing the development of an Oyster farm in the area:
