There continues to be pressure on the Emergency Department at Letterkenny University Hospital
There were 10 people on trolleys in the department this morning, and three waiting on overflow areas in wards, effectively, 13 people in need of admission for whom there were no beds.
Elective surgery has been cancelled on a number of occasions this week, with the numbers on trolleys in the ED in double figures for three days running.
