Gorman features for Stevenage as Duffy scores for Blackburn

Letterkenny’s Dale Gorman played the full 90 minutes for Stevenage last night in their 4-0 defeat to Stoke in the League Cup.
Having impressed in the previous round against Ipswich, Gorman was one of four changes made by Stevenage Manager Darren Sarll.
Shay Given, Glen Whelan and Jon Walters all started for Stoke as Peter Crouch grabbed himself a hatrick.
Stevenage nearly earned themselves a consolation with 15 minutes remaining when the ball fall to Gorman.
The midfielder opted for placed over power but fired straight at Given.
Dale also featured in the Q & A section of the match day programme last night.

Elsewhere, Shane Duffy got on the scoresheet for Blackburn last night.
The Derry defender scored in extra time to give his side a 4-3 win over Crewe.
It was a postive night for Shane who had a nightmare last week, scoring two og’s and sent off in the league.
James McLean also scored in West Brom in their 2-all draw with Northampton but they lost 4-3 via penalties to the League One side.
