Funeral takes place of Gerard Quinn who was murdered in Derry last week

 

The funeral of Gerard Quinn who was murdered in Derry last week has taken place today at St Mary’s Church in Ardmore.
The father of one died from stab wounds to the neck caused by broken glass during an incident in the Waterside area of the city last Saturday.
He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
A 16 year old who cannot be named has been charged with his murder and is to appear again at Derry Magistrates Court on June 7th.
