Letterkenny’s Sinn Fein Mayor sees Royal visit as positive

The Sinn Fein Mayor of Letterkenny says the visit of Prince Charles to Donegal tomorrow is a positive step in the peace process.
However,Councillor Gerry McMonagle says his thoughts will be with the family of murdered Donegal Sinn Féin Councillor Eddie Fullerton and with the families of those killed in Derry on Bloody Sunday.
The royal visit falls on the anniversary of the death of Eddie Fullerton
Councillor McMonagle ays that while welcoming Charles to Letterkenny is difficult for him as a republican his role as mayor means he must represent everyone.
