Gurney thrilled at reaching first PDC Semi Final

Derry’s Daryl Gurney is hopeful of reaping the benefits of his extended run at the Cash Converters Players Championship, despite an 11-2 defeat by the world number one Michael van Gerwen in the last four on Sunday.
The 29-year-old was a 300/1 outsider at the start of the weekend but Gurney says he’s thrilled at reaching his first PDC major semi-final.
