Investigation will be launched into Mica blocks issue in Donegal

It’s been confirmed that an investigation will be launched into the problem with Mica blocks in Donegal.
Minister Paudie Coffey has announced that he intends to establish an expert group to investigate the problems that have emerged in the concrete block work of certain dwellings in Donegal and Mayo.
Thousands of homeowners in the county are thought to be affected by the issue, where their homes are crumbling, worthless and increasingly dangerous places to live and it is hoped the investigation will reach a satisfactory resolution to the issue.
Welcoming the news, Minister Joe McHugh says the investigation should start with immediate effect:
