New Derry City Manager Kenny Shiels is to meet with a number of players this week but it looks highly likely that Mark Timlin is leaving the Brandywell.
The Derry Journal say Shiels has admitted defeated in trying to keep last seasons top goalscorer at the Brandywell with St Patrick’s Athletics understood to be in pole position to sign the Buncrana man.
The new boss will be speaking with out of contract players this week including Keeper Gerard Doherty and Patrick McEleney, who was due to play a match with Peterborough yesterday.
