Next Saturday Rory Gallagher’s side will play Connacht champions Mayo in the last eight at Croke Park.
In 2012, Donegal beat Mayo to take the All Ireland title while the following summer the holders of Sam where dethroned in the quarter finals by James Horan’s side.
