Tánaiste confirms that she will meet with Eddie Fullertons family in August

eddiefThe Tánaiste has confirmed that she will now meet with the family of the late Eddie Fullerton.
Former Sinn Fein Cllr Eddie Fullerton was murdered by the UVF at his Buncrana home in 1991 and new evidence of collusion was presented in an RTE documentary recently.
Donegal Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn had written to the Tánaiste to seek to arrange a meeting with Cllr Fullertons family, but the Tánaistes office replied saying her diary was too busy.
But Highland Radio News can now exclusively reveal that Joan Burton has now agreed to meet with the family.
The Labour leader is in Co Donegal on Monday evening for the MacGill Summer School in Glenties, but she is unable to schedule a meeting in then, but Joan Burton has promised she will meet the family in early August.
