Derry City let a one nil lead turn into a two one defeat at the Brandywell on Friday night when they faced Bohemians.
Philip Lowry scored in the eighth minute, meeting Patrick Mc Eleney’s cross with a low shot from the edge of the box that left the keeper rooted to the spot.
Kealen Dillon equalised with a superb 20 yard volley that flew past the helpless City keeper in the 25th minute.
Marc Griffin hit the winner in the 77th minute. Derry let Bohs literally walk the ball into the net.
They broke down the right and Patrick Kavanagh squared the ball for Griffin to score from close range.
Derry lost Patrick Mc Eleney in the 70th minute. He went down clutching his groin and was stretchered off.
After the game Martin Holmes spoke to defender Shane Mc Eleney and first manager Peter Hutton.
