A crane at the centre of an airspace violation claim in Strabane is being taken down today.
A new DARD direct office is currently being built on the site of old Social Security Office on Urney Road, which will create 40 new jobs.
The company behind the construction have been ordered to attend a hearing in Belfast High Court after a homeowner close to the site complained that a crane there had invaded his property’s airspace.
With the crane now taken down, it’s understood the building of the new office will be significantly delayed.
Now, West Tyrone MLA Joe Byrne says after an attempt to reach a resolution failed, the contractor has taken the crane down…………..
