Derry detectives probe Ballyarnett Road assaults

 
 

Detectives are appealing for information following reports of assaults in the Ballyarnett Road area of Derry in the early hours of this morning.
Just after 4.30am, police received reports of altercations in the area involving a number of people. Two men aged 30 and 20, and a 17 year old male, were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Detective Inspector John Wilson who is leading the investigation says enquiries are at an early stage and they are urging anybody who was in the area at the time to contact CID at Strand Road Police Station.
