Derry end league campaign tonight at Bohs

DerryCityHomeDerry City will travel to Dublin on Friday evening for their last league game of the season.
The Candystripes will take on Owen Heary’s Bohemians side looking to finish the year on high and gather some momentum ahead of The FAI Ford cup final on November 2nd.
The last time the two sides met in Dalymount park the game finished one all, with a stunning goal from Patrick McEleney cancelling out Jason Byrne’s early strike.
Speaking ahead of the game Manager Peter Hutton had this to say. “The cup final has been a bit of a distraction ahead of this game but we need to prepare for it as we would any other game. It’s very important that we get a good result which will see us in good form heading into the final. We will have to make changes due to a couple of the lads carrying knocks and that will of course give some lads a chance to get vital game time. Results over the last couple of weeks haven’t been great, but it would be fair to say that we have been concentrating on the cup over the last while, but we will go into the game against Bohemians looking to build a bit of momentum and increase the side’s confidence ahead of the cup final.”
Derry City will be without the services of Rory Patterson who will see out his suspension, while Patrick McEleney (heel), Shaun Kelly (calf) and Barry McNamee (groin) are all injured and will miss the game.
