Claims: Independent Cllrs boycott of Irish Water meeting is down to ‘inexperience’

Councillor Jack Murray has criticised two independent Councillors over their decision not to attend a meeting later this month with Irish Water in Carrick on Shannon.
The briefing is one of 8 taking place across the country between senior Irish Water representatives and local authority members – Councillors will also be able to take part in a Q and A session.
Independent Dessie Shiels says he is not going while Independent Councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easpuig isn’t going either – he has called on all of Donegal’s Councillors to follow suit.
But Jack Murray suggests those decisions are naive:
