Noamh Conaill will play Glenswilly after replay win over Ardara

Dr Maguire CupA Noamh Conaill win over neighbours Ardara tonight secured a semi final place in the Donegal Senior Championship this Sunday against Glenswilly.
With three points from Dara Gallagher and a couple from Brendan McDyer, Noamh Conaill were crusing 7-2 at half time in Ballybofey under the lights.
Ardara hit three points from Gareth Concarr, Cj Molloy and Ryan Melly in a five minute period in the third quarter to close the gap to three before Marty Boyle put the Glenties side lead out to four.
The game really came to life in the closing minutes when Ardara’s Martin Shovlin scored the games only goal to reduce the deficit to just a point.
With almost six minutes injury time played referee Jimmy White blew for full time and it was Noamh Conaill who marched into the last four to set up another top billing derby against Gary McDaid’s glen men.
Final Score – Noamh Conaill 0-9 Ardara 1-5
