Two remanded over Derry car hijacking in which man was run over

Police CordanA man was knocked unconscious by hijackers who then ran him over with his car, a court has heard.
The 25-year-old suffered a fractured arm in the incident at Fountain Hill in the Waterside area of Derry.
It happened at about 3am on Monday.
Two men and a woman, in their 20s, appeared in court yesterday charged with hijacking, aggravated vehicle-taking, assault and theft.
The accused are 23-year-old Rachel McGranaghan of Cuthbert Street, her boyfriend 24-year-old Daryl O’Hagan also of Cuthbert Street and 29-year-old Remy Daniel Moore of Carlisle Road.
Mr O’Hagan and Mr Moore were also charged with driving without insurance and without a licence.
Mr Moore was also charged with driving while unfit due to drink or drugs, while Mr O’Hagan and Ms McGranaghan were charged with possessing cannabis.
The two men were remanded in custody to appear in court on 11 September, while Ms McGranaghan was released on bail and will also appear in court on the same date.
