The party says the former Environment Minister is among the worst possible nominees to take the job in Brussels.
Deputy Hogan’s likely to be officially confirmed by MEP’s in September, and is tipped to take the Agriculture job.
But speaking at the MacGill Summer School in Glenties, Sinn Féin’s Pearse Doherty says Phil Hogan is the wrong man for the job:
