Mc Ginley begins process of preparing gaeltacht language plans for Cloughaneely and South Donegal

Junior Gaeltacht Minister Dinny McGinley has invited groups in six more areas to begin the language planning process that could determine their future status.
The areas of Donegal included are Clouganeely, including Gortahork, Falcarragh and Magheraroarty, as well as the gaeltacht area of South Donegal.
Groups have two months from today to submit expressions of interest, with the successful organisation working with Udaras na Gaeltachta to prepare a language plan.
They will then have 7 years to implement the plans, with regular reviews being undertaken.
Meanwhile, Junior MInister Dinny Mc Ginley says the consultation period on the selection of Gaeltacht Service towns is coming to an end, with Friday of this week the deadline for submissions.
Minister Mc Ginley says the language plans are very important for the future of gaeltacht areas……..
