Donegal return to top flight and Croke Park

jim mc guinnessDonegal have made an immediate return to the top tier of the National Football League after their five-point win over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds on Sunday.
Michael Murphy hit both goals for Donegal the first from the penalty spot and the second form play while Colm Mc Fadden hit  0-5 and Rory Kavanagh scored 0-3.
The victory sends Donegal back to Division 1 and a final meeting at the end of the month with Monaghan at Croke Park.
The defeat means Armagh are relegated to Division 3.
Naturally Jim Mc Guinness was pleased with the outcome of the campaign.
