Reilly back at LGH to visit his Junior Minister

The Minister for Health has paid his second visit to Letterkenny General Hospital since Frioday’s flooding, this time to visit his Junior Minister.
Kathleen Lynch was admitted to the hospital earlier today.
She was visiting the hospital to inspect damage caused by last week’s flooding when she was taken ill.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Health says the minister is in good spirits and it’s hoped she’ll be back on her feet in the coming days.
Minister Reilly then went on to address the MacGill Summer School in Glenties, where he said the government is working on schemes to ensure free GP access for every child.
The health minister says free access to doctors for children is the first step towards universal social insurance.
James Reilly told the MacGill Summer School that Ireland was trying to deliver 21st century healthcare in a 19th century system.
