A 39-year-old council worker has died after becoming trapped by a lorry at a council recycling depot on Gateside Road in Coleraine.

He’s been named locally as married father of two Alan Devenney, who was from the town.

The Health and Safety Executive has launched an investigation, and the depot will remain closed until further notice.
