Latest figures show that 4.9 million euro has been collected so far through the second property tax in Donegal.

This is the 7th highest collection rate in the country.

In total 120 million euro has been raised across the country, the largest amount, 22.5 million euro in Dublin.

There is speculation that the government will increase the tax in Decembers budget.
